10 Favorite Products in January

Welcome back lovely readers! We have another amazing guest post for you today! Claire West give us 10 awesome product finds.

January is one of my least favorite months.  It just seems so long, cold, and blah! I have put a list together of some of my favorite things that have made the month more enjoyable.

Forty Cure Crème

I love a good moisturizer year-round, but I NEED a good one this time of year!  My skin gets so dry in the winter months.  Recently I tried Forty Cure Crème for the first time!

This product is made by LimeLife by Alcone.  Forty Cure Crème (FCC) is advertised as a body and hand cream, but it is gentle enough that I use it on my face and lips at night.  I love how it smells and how creamy it is.  It makes my face so smooth and heals my chapped lips overnight. FCC contains Citrus and Lavender Essential Oils. The most important ingredient comes from the Forty Cure Tree in Tahiti.  Tamanu Oil is known for its healing properties.

“Everyday Millionaire” by Chris Hogan

“Everyday Millionaire” is a new book that just came out by Chris Hogan.  I haven’t finished reading it, but I am loving it so far.  Hogan’s team did extensive research on over 10,000 millionaires.  Their studies found that most of the country’s millionaires became wealthy from their own plans and actions, they didn’t just inherit the money from a rich relative.  “Everyday Millionaire” teaches how to build wealth.  The book lays out a plan for your finances.  I don’t necessarily care about becoming a millionaire but I would love to learn to budget my money better.  I don’t want to ever have to be concerned or worried about my income not being enough.

Witch Hazel

I recently got a facial and the esthetician asked what kind of toner I was using.  I didn’t realize the importance of using toner, so I wasn’t using any. Toner is so important for anyone who wears makeup or has oily skin.  It reduces the appearance of pores and refreshes the skin. The esthetician recommended using witch hazel. I looked on Amazon and found Mario Badescu Witch Hazel & Rosewater Toner.  It had great reviews so I decided to try it. It smells so girly and fresh!  I use it in the morning before I get ready and then after I take my makeup off.

Old Navy Joggers

I wanted a pair of cute joggers to wear on the weekends, but I have the hardest time finding pants to fit.  (I’m short!) I never shop at Old Navy, but I was there before Christmas looking for some gifts. I happened to walk through the boys section and I saw a rack of joggers.  They were on sale too! I pretty much lived in these the rest of Christmas break. They are so cozy, but don’t look like pajamas. I feel comfortable wearing them out in public.  The fit is perfect!

Soleil Straightening Iron

Soleil Flat Iron

My hair is naturally wavy so I have to curl or straighten it.  My mom purchased a Soleil Flat Iron for my birthday. We were at a local vendor fair.  The lady at the booth asked if she could use the flat iron on my hair. I usually say no to these offers, but it was rainy outside and my hair did need some help!  The lady showed us how the FAR Infrared Technology made my curls feel so soft and light weight! The ceramic plates are floating, making it easier to style your hair.  You can control the heat, which I think is so important! I love using my Soleil Flat Iron for curls or straight hair. They come in a few different colors, I chose Rose Gold.

Pink Himalayan Mineral Soak

My friend, Schyler introduced me to Pink Himalayan Mineral Soak recently.  I always thought people used bath salts just because they looked pretty sitting on the counter or because it smelled good.  It is true that the bath salt looks pretty on the counter and it fills the bathroom with a fresh scent, but Himalayan Mineral Soak does so much more.  The packaging says it, “eases aches and soreness from muscle pain, replenishes and recharges, and provides relief from stress.” I usually take a t least two baths a week in my Pink Himalayan Mineral Soak.  I truly do get out feeling refreshed!

Pandora Ring

Pandora Ring

My parents bought me a beautiful Pandora Ring.  I love wearing elegant, yet simple rings on a daily basis.  The ring is a beautiful Rose Gold with rhinestones in the center.  I just love this ring because it is so simple. It matches any outfit whether I am casually dressed or fancy.

I absolutely love Ring.com.  I use their Doorbell Cameras and Stickup Motion Cameras.  They give me a sense of peace whether I am at home or away.  I get an alert any time the cameras pick up motion in my yard or if someone rings the doorbell.  It is so nice to be able to see what is going on in your yard at all times! If someone has rung the doorbell or set off an alert because of motion, you can talk to them!  You can see them, but they cannot see you. The cameras are a one-time cost and only $3 per camera a month to record. I highly recommend ring.com and their products.

Highlight Palette

Highlight palette

My skin seems dull in the cold winter months.  I have recently found a highlighter palette that I love!  The LimeLife Danessa highlight palette comes with 8 shades.  There are two shades that I use every day! The other shades would be fun for special occasions.  I love how the shades make my skin “glow”. I put that highlighter on my cheek bones, down my nose, and on my chin.

Cheer up Buttercup

I don’t know much about Essential Oils and their healing effects on our bodies, but I do love how clean and fresh they smell.  A parent gave me a Diffuser for my classroom at Christmas. My favorite oil to diffuse is called Cheer Up Buttercup. It came from Amazon for around $10.    This blend contains Bergamot Oil, Orange Oil, Lime Oil, Grapefruit Oil, Lemon Oil and Citrus. Cheer Up Buttercup lifts our mood and gives us energy!

Blessed not lucky,
