Hello, my lovely readers! I hope you all had a wonderful month of May. I normally do a monthly favorites post, but I want to start getting more personal with you. So instead of just doing my favorites, I want to include a recap what I went through each month.
May Was a Struggle
If you are interested in reading what it is like to learn how to code then stay tuned for my next life update! I'll let you in on a preview though, it is has been really hard to continue learning, and I may have taken a break to focus more on CSS.
I am sure, if you have been a long-time reader, then you would know that I am trying to manage Diabetes. But what you didn't know is that I was recently diagnosed with PCOS. That in itself has been a huge battle.
I have not only had to stick to a stricter diet than I had been for Diabetes, but I have had to look into so much behind the chronic condition. PCOS is a hormonal imbalance that affects women's ovaries.
It has been an emotional rollercoaster trying to deal with the idea that I may never be able to have kids if I don't get this under control. This next month, I will go more into depth about PCOS and how it affects my daily life.
Now for My Favorites
1. Canvas Totes
I picked up a few of these blank canvas totes and attached a iron on design and they have been so useful for everything! I have mostly been using one as a computer bag, but the last few times I have gone grocery shopping, I have brought these along with me.
When I first started using them, I was surprised by how much actually fit inside them. Not to mention you can customize them however you want! That is always the best bonus!
I am not sure how many bloggers actually talk about how incredible Canva can be as a resource. I have been using them exclusively as my designing program since I started blogging.
To get more specific about why I love Canva this month, I actually created some cute iPhone Wallpapers which are amazing!
They have such a versatile service for designing that you are literally left up to how big your imagination can get.
2. Nothin' But Granola Cookies
So my sister introduced me to these delicious cookies. Originally I thought I couldn't get them in California and that they were only available on the East Coast, but low and behold, Amazon has literally EVERYTHING!
Not to mention the shipping time for this was not very long, so I got my cookies within the same week I ordered them. They are literally the best granola cookies I have ever had.
They are "moist" and definitely not dry like the regular granola treats you get from the store. The sugar content is pretty low and they come in a variety of flavors too.
