I am so excited to participate in this year’s blogtober. If you haven’t noticed, I have been having a major blogging slump lately. I got caught up in the overwhelm of starting a new job and getting settled in a different schedule.
Yesterday, August 9, 2018, marked my 1 year anniversary of marriage and 3 full years of being with my other half. I am more than excited to share my journey of being a newly-wed with you. But let me get one thing off of my chest before I start. Marriage is hard.
In January, I did a Vision/Mood Board post. I learned a lot since then about manifesting, law of attraction, and staying motivated about my goals. This summer, I wanted to redo my mood board completely.
Hello, my lovely readers! I hope you all had a wonderful month of May. I normally do a monthly favorites post, but I want to start getting more personal with you. So instead of just doing my favorites, I want to include a recap what I went through each month.
I was thinking about a fun question the other day: "If you were stranded on a deserted island, what are 3 things you would bring?" I heard that question quite often growing up, and thinking back on it, I keep thinking about the things I can't live without. What are the most important things in my life? So here is a list of 10 things I absolutely can't live without.
I am so excited to share my favorite Etsy shops with you! I have loved Etsy for years and even used it to get my wedding bouquet of silk flowers. I have always dreamed of being an Etsy shop owner, and now I finally am!
January was a month of accomplishment. I joined 5 wonderful blogger communities on Facebook. I gained more followers on Twitter and Instagram than I could have expected. I implemented a newsletter for this blog. I am in awe of how much I grew in my own confidence in January as well.
Life is hard when you are a recent college graduate. You have so many bills to pay, and if you are lucky you get a full-time position right out of college...With all my bills, I only have a small amount of money left over in the month to afford nice things...So I have to spend my money wisely.
I only started getting interested in Youtube this year. I know, it has been around forever. I remember watching it in high school and fan-girling over the newest Jenna Marbles video. But then came college, and I actually forgot Youtube existed. It wasn’t until this year when I was looking for the motivation to explore my passions that I discovered how amazing Youtube is.
We’re a week away from Thanksgiving and I couldn’t be any more grateful. November has been a month full of self-discovery and rainy nights curled up on my couch. Now that October is over, I have fewer favorites to look forward to as fall ends.
October is almost over and I couldn’t feel anymore bittersweet about it. October is the month with many of my favorites as it is spooky, cozy, and sweet as it has my birthday too. What a treat! I wanted to give you a list of my favorite things for this month. I hope you enjoy some of these things too.
Mornings can be rough. Especially when your alarm is blasting in your ear and you don’t even want to move your arm out of bed to shut it off...But on the days where I feel motivated to explore and get on with my day, my morning looks a little more organized.
Last week was tough. I have lost a lot of motivation for doing what I love and like most of what happens in life. I have struggled a lot this past week with figuring out what I truly want and who I really am and what makes me, me. Thanks to being sick, I had a lot of time to consider these things.
Growing up, I was consistently drawn to different things by a desire to know and learn more about it. I suppose that being in love with something so much so that you have to practice it daily makes it a passion.
